Fuel tank auxiliary

Fuel odor
Does anyone have a Long Range America or Brown Davis tank with a fuel odor outside the Grenadier?

I have had mine for 2 months now, and in the past 2 weeks I am smelling gasoline outside the passenger side. The is no odor inside. There is no odor inside the fuel fill door/gas cap.

The odor is around the right rear quarter panel. It is in my garage and the garage is about 75° - 80 (27°C).

Has anyone experienced this?

How is your evap/charcoal canister breather situated?

I think my charcoal canister is blocked. I’ve had trouble for quite a while when filling with petrol, where the fuel pump keeps clicking off. When I had it serviced a few months back I asked for it to be checked and they said they had blown it through a bit with an airline. This helped a bit but didn’t eliminate the problem. Now with my auxiliary LRA fuel tank fitted the problem seems worse. It took ages yesterday to fill up the main tank with pump clicking off so many times. I think the charcoal filter is above the main fuel tank so a pita to replace and probably very costly too. I’ll phone my dealer on Monday to see how to proceed. A bit of a pain as I’ve only just got it back after having all the other works done. Anybody have any ideas? I see the breather connection is behind the fuel filler so could be blown through again. ?
