I got 302 colour (color?) inputs this morning, time to publish a small update:




How did I collect? From the polls some months ago (April?), and since then every time I saw somebody revealing his favorite color I wrote it down in my file.
With 57 inputs for North America, this begins to be somewhat relevant.

In the new Ineos book, Sir Jim is quoted as saying in retrospect they probably should only have offered 4 colours.

Seriously , 90% of the cars in UK towns and cities are grey/black. On our recent trip my wife and I played spot the coloured car, and there were many minutes of silence.

You’d think in a country suffering from perpetual grey they’d want a bit of colour in their lives yeah?

Interesting, I wonder if his choice of the 4 colours is represented by the colours in @Jean Mercier spreadsheet.

You'd think so. But how many coloured Landcruisers and Patrols do you see out on the trails?
"Greige" is a colour that has become dominant in interior design and vehicles. Non offensive , predictable , boring I guess.
Earthy 60s flat "crayon" colours have been on trend for a while. Subaru orange , Volvo browns etc.
Bring back the 70s safety colours!

- Ratcliffe Grey - inspired by his hair

Hi Jean, Thanks for putting this together. I see that you must have put my Shale Blue into the matrix. I was hoping that I would have
had the only Shale Blue in NA. Love having a rare color. Ok to see I have company with one other too. DaBull
