Hello everybody. My first Oil Change came up and my Ineos dealer at Rusnak said that it would be just under $1000 and that would include an oil change with the Castrol LL 17-FE+ and filter, the front and rear differential, and a cabin air filter. I usually do the oil change itself, but I figured I better have the dealer do it for the first time anyway, but just under $1000 was too much so I shopped around and where I live in California they have a place called the Oil stop. I called them and they had the oil but it was a BMW oil which the better oil and is more expensive than the Castrol oil but made for the b58 engineAnd they have the filter in stock as well. They were surprised because they usually just work on BMW that’s why they had the oil filter in stock So they said they would do my grenadier for $169 oil change plus an extra $20 for the extra quart and $10 extra for the oil filter. So I thought that was fair. Then when I was in there I said hey do you do the differentials they said yes we do. So they had the different fluid with the required specs and the price $109 for the front and $109 for the back so for everything including including oil, waste disposal and tax came out to 415.00.
Then i bought my own cabin filter from a from an auto parts store for $30. My total was $435 instead of the Ineos dealer told me it would be just under $1000. Here’s a copy of my invoice and a copy and the 33 point list check and they gave me a free car wash at the place down the street.
