Question about locking the center differential.
Since we just had some snow/ice I decided to mess with the transfer case selector. On snowy/icy ground, while moving forward slowly, I simply lifted the selector collar and moved it to the right, thus locking the center diff. Seems to drive fine, but I don't understand why the lower two lights turned on.
What am I missing?

Looks like the one on the right is saying that it is disengaging the speed warnings. And the other one on lower left says autonomous braking is also disengaged. Presumably they do that to enable safe off-road driving. I have an older model in Australia so don’t have those. But that’s my guess.

From top to bottom of your telltale display:
1) Upper left is running lights on, upper right is headlights on
2) Middle left is ESC off (in this case delayed intervention), middle right is center diff locked
3) Lower left is forward collision warning disabled, lower right is front camera view warning: ADAS disabled (intelligent speed assist, driver drowsiness warning, lane departure warning, forward collision warning & automatic emergency braking)

The second and third rows are the normal consequence of locking the center diff. See pg 35 of the owners manual to decode the telltale symbols and pg 142 for a description of what happens when the center diff is locked.
