I picked up 8 collapsible crates that fit perfectly in the cargo load space:

They are crate that are accessible from the side, so you don’t need to remove them to access the bottom crates:

Then, when the crates are collapsed, they are the perfect height to level the cargo area when the seats are folded down, enabling a mat or mattress to go on top to sleep in the back:
