I’m not sure also how much heat is transferred through the metal exhaust hanger to the rubber/polymer link between exhaust and chassis mount.Yeah I’d like to pick a spare up as well. I’m also leaning towards heat shielding that polymer bracket…
I’ve just watched a utube video from Mainline overland in the USA and took a screen shot of the fuel pump used for the LRA auxiliary petrol tank.Yeah I’d like to pick a spare up as well. I’m also leaning towards heat shielding that polymer bracket…

The rotary vane inline fuel pump appears to be a Carter P4070.

On my truck the clearance dent on the exhaust pipe still contacted the rear suspension bolt on certain driveway entrances; the fix would have been to make the clearance dent in the pipe a bit largerDoes anyone else have theirs hitting their I think its a control arm on the rear axle??? My rear muffler swings back and forth so much it makes contact?
I'm thinking of having a custom exhaust ran, not a fan of the slapping while going over decent size bumps and obstacles.....On my truck the clearance dent on the exhaust pipe still contacted the rear suspension bolt on certain driveway entrances; the fix would have been to make the clearance dent in the pipe a bit larger
Do you have a picture of the exhaust part in question. I have the LRA auxiliary petrol tank, along with the associated exhaust modification. I’ve not noticed any noise or contacting of metal parts.I'm thinking of having a custom exhaust ran, not a fan of the slapping while going over decent size bumps and obstacles.....
Yeah let me work on getting some pics, I actually want to go the opposite, basically take all the cans out... lol I'm actually wondering if they can even get the rear exhaust out now without dropping the fuel tank??Do you have a picture of the exhaust part in question. On a separate note. I don’t particularly like the exhaust sound with the modification, so went to a specialist exhaust workshop to see what they could do , to change /quieten the exhaust note. After having a good look and taking measurements underneath they concluded they couldn’t do much, that would make much difference as space is too tight underneath to accommodate a larger or further silencer.
