Have you confirmed this?? The tech installer said it did not shut off when full.... I don't have anything from LRA that says it works like that but that would be amazing. I'm nervous to test this honestly

I just went out and topped off my tank. It turned off on its own.

Slightly off-topic, but I recently had an interesting interaction with a South African Brown Davis agent/distributor.
I noticed that the Brown Davis petrol tank has a significantly larger capacity (104l) than the diesel version (68l), which obviously needs to accommodate the AdBlue tank.
I asked them whether it would be possible to fit the petrol-spec tank to my diesel vehicle without any issues.
Their response caught me slightly off guard.

'Hi
Brown Davis said that they have never tried fitting the petrol Grenadier tank in the diesel, nor do they know of anyone that has tried.
If you can send us some pics of the area above your muffler in your vehicle, they might be able to tell us if it might work.
But for safety, they suggest the 68-liter tank for the diesel, as we know it works."

I would have assumed the tanks to be largely identical and interchangeable between the two models.

Hey all I have a reply from LRA on the questions.

My questions were what happens if the main is full and AUX still runs. Second was what happens when AUX tank runs out.

So it does sound like what others have said, it will not shut off when main is full but they state shouldn't be worried bc it will run over into the AUX, and the AUX when empty shuts pump off in two mins.
