Bell sound when bouncing on something

Today, I fitted a small strip of sound deadening lengthwise on the back of the steering damper bell end 😂 so you can’t see it from the front and it 100% works. It doesn’t interfere with anything

Good morning everyone,
I’m experiencing the exact same “bell” cling sound coming from the undercarriage whenever I go over a sharp bump, even at moderate speed.
I’ve read about the known steering damper issue, and while that explanation makes sense, in my case the noise is definitely coming from the rear, where there is no such parts. I’ve crawled under the vehicle but haven’t been able to identify anything loose or visibly out of place.
Any insight or suggestions from the community would be greatly appreciated!. I have attached a video to demonstrate.

Just tape something to the steering dampener housing… if the sound changes pitch, then you know that’s the source.. if no change.. then something else is causing it… don’t trust your ear.. sound travels in unexpected manners

yes you maybe right.... I might here it comming from the rear when it actually comes from the front .... will put some tape around it a go for a test drive.

hi, you can simply remove the steering damper for a few km and check if that is actually the one making the noise. it will probably be him.
I attach a photo of the solution I adopted.
