Android Auto not working after latest Ineos software update

Hello,
10 Years ago, the same situation with VW.
The Dealer tried to connect my Phone with the car, it doesn´t work.
After leaving the Dealer i try to connect the phone myself.
The Trick was both parts have to stay in Bluetooth visible mode.

I hope this is also a solution for you - try it.

Yes, was after the dealer installed the software update. Got rid of the annoying clicks, but lost android. Decent trade, I guess.

so I guess it is not just an isolated incident to me. I'll keep you posted if they come up with a fix.

thanks...yes. we did that. the phone always connects via bluetooth and android auto shows on the phone it is connected, but the android auto application (navigation etc) will not start on the Ineos.

Deleting android auto in your phone might not erase a phone profile. You might have tried this already...
1) Go to your phone settings.
2) Search for Android Auto
3) In AA, tap on "previously connected vehicles".
4) Tap on the ellipses (3 dots) on the top right hand corner of the screen.
5) Tap on "forget all vehicles"
6) Delete AA from your phone
7) Restart phone
8) Reinstall AA
9) Delete all phone profiles from Grenadier.
10) Reset infotainment system by turning key to ACC position and pressing Mute bottom and holding for about 25 seconds until screen reboots and Grenadier splash screen appears.
11) Remove key from ignition, exit vehicle. Wait 10 minutes.
12) Return to vehicle and try adding your android phone again.

it is whatever the latest is that allows the over speed warning to be set off permanently. Dealer reached out to me....I need to bring the vehicle back to them. I'll report back after and let you know the outcome.
