5 Year Trip in a Grenadier Across the World towing a Patriot X3 Which We Live In.

Yes we did go to the Upper Mustang and stayed in a home/hostel owned by the son of the builder who was our cook and his wife were just so lovely and joined us after preparing our meals. We were at the foothills of the rise to The Muktinath Temple. Such a change in the landscape on our ride and rise to the Temple so arid but wonderful to take in but don't look down.:ROFLMAO:The protests were captivating and an emotional ride, I was glad to see and read of the outcome.👃
You're taking us back now! So cool! We couldn't justify the $500USD per adult to enter Upper Mustang, which is a real shame, but it's something we'll have to look at another time. We heard it's beautiful up there. As for the protests, amazing to experience a moment in history like that. I once met a cameraman who worked for 60 minutes, and his life was wild. He went through the last 60 years of history, and all the pivotal moments, he was there for almost all of them. It's going to be interesting to see how the Nepal situation all unfolds from here...

We were told at the time that the Sloth bears would always charge head on, if encountered on a jungle trail. The scout carried an umbrella, he would open this in the event of a charge to appear larger and scare the bear off. Apparently a tiger would always attack from behind and disappear if encountered head on. We never got close enough to test either of the theories thank goodness.
Apparently in the sunderbans many people are killed by tigers. I’ve seen documentaries where the locals who go into the forest wear masks on the back of their heads as a precaution against tiger attacks.
Did you ask him if he knew of a case where the umbrella actually worked? It’s always so interesting to hear how a tiger vs a lion vs a leopard etc would behave if you encountered them in the wild and what you should do. The masks is something I’ve heard about also. I’m going to ask the CBAPU about that now actually and see what they say and why they don’t do it in Bardiya.

Show them this. It’s an excerpt from the New Indian Express Newspaper.

Living the high life indeed! 😅 We’ve had the service reminder on for a lot of the trip to be honest and so just grown used to it.. Not ideal but what can you do 🤷‍♂️
Black tape?

Your videos have been wonderful to watch. So many epic views.
Thanks so much for the message, we appreciate it and are glad you’ve enjoyed the journey so far! Part of what we’re doing is reminding people just how epic our planet is, these moments of escape in each video help to do that. Especially places people may not be so aware of. More coming soon… 😎🙏

A MASSIVE thank you once again to everyone who helped support us to rise from the ashes, and bring our home back to life! We couldn’t have done it without you and we’re very grateful. We’re now back up and running and fully operational! 🇲🇳😎🙏

That made me smile! As for Australia, at this point, I think INEOS would have to get involved in a rather significant way to even consider it as a possibility… I’d love to do a lap (And bolt on Tassie and NZ) 🇦🇺 🇳🇿 When we’d be able to come though, your guess is as good as mine at the moment. My brother has just moved to Tassie and so there’s one reason we’ll be heading that way at some point. 🍻
