Thread 'Looking for REAL OBD2 / CAN Bus Experts'
Hi everyone, I’m looking to connect with people who have serious, hands-on expertise in working with the OBD2/OBDII port and CAN bus systems on the Grenadier. To be clear — I’m not looking for guesses, assumptions, or general advice. I’m specifically interested in individuals who actively work at a technical level with these systems. I’ve just started exploring the OBD2 port of the vehicle today, and within about two hours I was already able to establish communication with four different...
Hit a deer which damaged the driver-side front bumper. The bumper and associated parts and sensors have been replaced and the collision repair shop is not able to access what they need to to clear the airbag warning light. I live 6 1/2 hours away from an INEOS dealer so I'm hoping someone has advice on how to clear the airbag warning light ??
Thread 'Dislodged side corner marker'
I tagged a guardrail and dislodged the right front corner marker light. Is it held in by adhesive? I thought I could pop it back in but there don’t appear to be any clips or anything holding it in place.
Driveshaft issues? Ineos still says no. Their current official stance is that the issues we are experiencing is "only with lifted vehicles". Although a lift can certainly exacerbate the issue, we have seen many documented drifeshaft CV boot failures/issues with stock grenadiers and quartermasters. I received an email back from their technical advisor team today (2026-Mar-20), where they mentioned they are not planning on any modifications / updates to driveshafts in future models. Looks...
Latest DVA Tech Article - Everything you wanted to know about how the Grenadier's locking system actually works — Eaton E-Lockers, the Tremec transfer case, Carraro axles, engagement procedures, speed limits, the whole thing. Quick version: • Center diff is a dog-clutch in the Tremec transfer case. Manual says engage stationary + neutral, but owners routinely lock it at speed when axle speeds are matched • E-Lockers: ≤3 mph to engage per Eaton, ≤20 mph max while engaged. Going above 3...
Hi Guys Just looking at ninetubes parcel shelf and was thinking of getting one made up - however I note that Kaon do one also but search as I can - I cannot find what thickness material it is! Has anyone installed the Kaon one and can advise? Steve
2026 owners, is your hvac system working flawlessly? We have heard it’s been upgraded, but has it worked. Is the condensation leak and the finicky temperature control 100% working as it should? Cheers
Thread 'Yikes! Victoria High Country Grenadier Fire'
As the title reads, it looks like another fire down under. https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1Bmzi8SLDG/?mibextid=wwXIfr
Thread 'Side runner tread delaminating'
Has anyone noticed the tread on the top of their side runners starting to peel away? Just noticed it - my dealer said it would be covered under the 36 mo accessory warranty
Thread 'Front skid plate inadequate - radiator damaged from icy water crossing.'
Please be aware that if you are navigating an icy water crossing, the front skid plate acts as an ice scoop and directs chunks of ice directly into the radiator. I am fortunate that only the fins are bent, and that none of the tubes are compromised. I am going to research aftermarket skid plate options, or may just have a plate welded over to blank off the ice scoop in this one. If radiator airflow becomes an issue - we will see. This would also potentially be a major problem driving in...
HI Guys For those Aussies here - I'm looking at getting a custom spare wheel cover made as the vehicle is 'for work' however i'm not sold on soft covers as i think they can look a bit tatty. Ideally i'd like a hard cover, that way I can use Vinyl cut lettering etc. Has anyone had a hard cover supplied by anyone local thats fits? My google fu seems to not be working... If not I guess I'll stick with the soft covers and hope that the cover doesnt catch the wiper like it did on the defender...
Thread 'Game changer propshaft'
Hi everyone , sorry i'm not really présent here for a lot of time , really busy with races and new products I have a big news , two new products for sell now , one front propshaft simple UJ to simple UJ , good for offroading a lot , strong but with a little vib at hight speed , and the big news is a new Double UJ to wide angle Rzeppa , work with any lift , no vib at 4" lift and genuine castor angle on mine even with a really heavy trailer and the front to the sky !
Do I re-use the metal sleeve that was used on the passenger side of the stock stabilizer? And are the torque specs really 85 ft/lb on the passenger side and 135 ft/lb on the driver side? I didn't go that far when I installed mine last night. Felt like I was gonna break a bolt. Especially on the passenger side. I never felt a sensation of the the bolt getting close to a "can't turn it any more" point. Advice?
Thread 'Fender bender repair story'
Had a minor rearend collision (with a Ford Expedition) a few months back. Once it was in the shop it took about two weeks for parts. $6k bill - mostly for the metal work on the big panel. Luckily, other driver’s insurance had to pay. Just FYI for anyone who is curious about parts availability and cost.
Good morning, everyone. At the end of the month, I’ll finally be getting my Grenadier. I was thinking of buying wheel spacers to install on the stock wheels and tires. Does anyone use wheel spacers? What’s your experience been like? If possible, could you post a photo? Thanks to everyone, best regards.

Good morning togethter, I played around with the soand settings during my last cruises. In my opinion, changing the settings of the Equalizer does not change much at the sound appearance. If You put the slider of the Equalizer from Max to Min or the other way round, I cannot hear a difference. Also when I select one of the preset settings like Rock or News the sound does not chance that much that it makes a difference to me. Are my ears out of work or did anybody make similar...
Thread 'Strange extra bit under the hood'
Just did my first oil change and after taking off the engine cover I found a small white rubbery thing sitting on top of the engine. Anyone have an idea what it is?
Hello, has anyone done a brake fluid flush himself, not at the dealer? Do you know if there is a system reset procedure if you tackle this project to avoid a long drive to the dealer? My brake pedal holds too close too the floor for my liking and I think a brake flush would help. Thanks
