It seems that few aftermarket driving lights are attached directly to the top of the front bumper. Aside from having to drill holes into the upper surface and fiddle with nuts and bolts, are there other reasons to avoid doing this?
Just picked up the truck from getting the Wolfbox installed. The camera was mounted just above the license plate with a bracket using the top 2 lic naw mounting bolts. It. Vibrates easily and makes the image jump alot. Is this a common mounting location? Is there a better external spot?
Have been trying to trace the issue for a while but nothing resolved...taking it to dealer soon. As the title says, no washer fluid to the rear wiper. Despite some suggestions - check LH footwell, connector near the tank, kinked line in the door, fuse - i'm not getting any fluid. The pump IS working as i can hear it but it's block/disconnected somewhere. I thought i may have the issue isolated but not sure of the routing - the passenger side (RH) has a lot of fluid on the ground (Around...

Don’t quite get this CTEK system. It seems to be running on BMW software that keeps it from charging normally. If I leave my overhead switch on to power my fridge/cooler and it drains the battery down overnight. Normally not a big deal except the battery doesn’t charge very well the next day. Does a quick charge to 65% or so then goes low amperage so it just trickle charges and doesn’t actually top itself back off. Drive for an hour and it may be at 70% or something. Meaning day two of...
Thread 'GP Factor Winch Install Questions'
Happy Sunday Everyone, Ive just completed my GP Factor Winch Kit install with a frustrating end result, got everything buttoned up and reconnected the battery to find the winch isn't spooling and all the lights are on in the dash. I understand Im going to have to take everything back apart to do some troubleshooting but does anyone have any idea what could have happened and what to look for going back through it? Thanks in advance for anyone taking the time to offer insights.
Thread 'Mounting a 50” / 40 amp light bar to the roof'
Hi all, not finding anyone who has done this exact set up so curious what folks recommend. I bought a Heretic 50” light bar on Black Friday sale and intended to mount it up on my roof TrailRax roof rack. As I was about to wire up the harness to the dedicated roof plug I realize this is a 40 amp system, and these are 25 amp outlets. I assume the wiring and everything is not suited to handle 40 amps even if I were to replace the fuse (unless I’m mistaken?) So now I’m trying to figure out how...

Anyone know where to find this type of bracket in Europe ? RRE doesn’t ship to EU. https://rre-global.com/products/rre-ditch-light-brackets-for-ineos-grenadier-quartermaster?srsltid=AfmBOopwwBccIUR-ZTUcM6ec3moVu0KeHrNZa3WJQ4f3mrfR_qpkZQOk Thanks Laurent
Thread 'How can electronic devices be protected from radio interference?'
What electronic devices do you bring when you off-roading/camping/hunting? Do you have any practical ways of protecting electronic devices from being intervened by high frequency radio? It would be much appreciated. Thanks.
Just did part one of the Wolfbox install. Bugger to get that wiring through the rubber grommets, etc. All good...however.... i forgot to hook up the red reversing light wire (or at least extend). Can you tell me 1) Is this actually needed given the camera is on all the time? or does it actually power the camera like other back up cams? Additionally, if it does have to be connected, is there a chance to get the power off the rear back up cam already installed (lower door)?
Thread 'Wolfbox rear camera too dark'
Just installed the g900 tripro. I am extremely underwhelmed by the rear camera. In broad day light, the rear image is significantly darker than the front camera. It’s dark enough to make it a safety issue. On a sunny day, the view out the windshield overpowers the dark image from the wolfbox’s rear camera It doesn’t help that Wolfbox doesn’t allow you to adjust expose compensation for the rear camera. I am surprised by the lack of more people calling this out. I would not have gotten...
Couldn't find a straight answer on this - could possibly be a me problem (most likely) ... Are the puddle lights always "on" - i mean are they affected by a light setting on the dash or overhead? Either they are turned off or i can't seem to see them because i'm blind...or they're not as bright as they should be. I have the smooth pack so i know i have them.
Hello, I have a based Grenadier w/o high load auxiliary switch. I want to install a light bar but I do not know where to run the wiring from the roof to the battery. Does anyone what location where I could run the wiring? Ty
Thread 'UNAVI DIY Rear Mirror & 360 Camera System'
I recently ordered and performed a DIY install of the UNAVI rear view mirror and 360 camera system. Originally I was planning on the Wolfbox G900 Tripro with the 67 designs adapter but after watching the demo from @bodhigrenadier on YouTube I convinced myself to try it. After ordering they asked which shop was doing the install (me) and promptly shared the install instructions, which included links to disassembly, installation and calibration videos. I installed the rear view mirror...
Hi all. I have a left hand drive in the USA. I am going to install a bull bar, and would like to add pod lights to it. I would like to have it installed on an an EXT switch. Could someone who understands this better than me validate my intentions and answer a few questions? My current plan is: - Pod lights to 25 Amp EXT 5 since that is the under hood one - Scene lights on 25 Amp EXT 3 - Midland GMRS 50W on either of the 10 Amp INT 3 or 10 Amp Int 4 - I'll reserve EXT 2 for...
Thread 'Chase Light Install'
I tried searching but can't find what I am looking. I have the time to finally install my chase lights to the drivers (left) side interior switch wiring. Do I need all of the components that comes with the Baja lights? Do I clip the brass rings and connect to the truck wires and find a place to hide the relay, fuse, etc? Or run straight wires since the truck already has a fuse for that switch? If I use all of these wires what do I do with the plugged switch wire since the truck has...

Hi all. Has anyone used the Stedi dedicated Grenadier wiring harness for driving lights or lightbar? I've followed the video, pulled the front of the car apart, but my bull bar is in position and restrictive. After re watching the video, they have removed it. My issue is, with the bull bar in place, I can't tilt the grill far enough forward to get access to the original lights and unclip the original harness. This would allow the connection of the y piece, so I can use the switch on the...
Thread 'Cheapest Mod'
if you have the high load panel and the associated high amperage relay in the rear cargo panel, there are two exposed studs, one of which is continuously energized. These covers cost a few cents and may save you from an inadvertent welding project. Before: During: After: Yes, they should probably be red, but I had a bag of black ones left over from some other vehicle project long forgotten, and here we are.
