Just pulled in the Ohare garage. It has a low 6’6” clearance and my Bronco would sometimes rub the height marker. I’ve avoided driving my IG into the garage but saw one inside it today. Has anyone else parked there? Any trouble??
I have a 2024 Grenadier with a post-market Fox stabilizer bar, odometer 8300km. Yesterday, while driving on a highway at around 90-100km/h, I hit a moderately-sized pothole and the car went into a prolonged wobble, I had to use all my force and nerves to keep it straight and brake. Luckily I was on the right lane. I returned home driving at less than 90km/h, nothing happened afterwards. Is it a case of death wobble? Solutions? I bought the car new last autumn and haven't even drove it...
Hi Guys - Been searching for a bit but cant seem to find a definitive answer.. We have the Full leather recaro's on Rudolf - however I cannot find out if they are genuine cow leather or what seems to be called leather now - ie vegan leather - eg plastic. I ask as I want to make sure i treat them well. Even that is confusing as a local company makes a cleaner and protector but says only for use on PU coated leather - which I take as plastic leather.. but could they mena real leather coated...
Has anyone found a paint color that matches the interior a-pillar gray? I've installed some tweeters and would like to paint their enclosures/grilles to look close to OEM v. the black plastic they came with. edit: mods feel free to move, not sure where to post this now that the interior forum is gone.
Hi everyone, I collected my Grenadier from the dealer after they replaced the transfer case selector because the linkage pin had come out. The differential locks now work correctly, but low range will not engage. The lever moves, but it seems the transfer case is not going fully into low range. The dealer also did several warranty jobs (door locks, campaigns, etc.), so I suspect the transfer linkage might not be correctly adjusted after the selector replacement. Has...
With this weeks announcement within Australia to reduce quality of fuel, is there expected impact on the performance/durability of the engine both petrol and diesel? Is there on the shelf additives for preventative measures?
Saw this artcile today. https://www.autoblog.com/news/ineos-boss-hints-at-grenadier-v8-that-could-rival-mercedes-amg-g63?fbclid=IwY2xjawQhAaZleHRuA2FlbQIxMQBzcnRjBmFwcF9pZBAyMjIwMzkxNzg4MjAwODkyAAEe-CbnC-sdlGwCaExRdXS2bo1dlT9MTJAxggCoFnhHqBR3cNf9cdZTXTBKmqw_aem_pdFKa7-kgfTtVorpJJuZ-Q
I've had my truck for two weeks now. Really loving it. There are certainly some peculiarities but hoping most can be solved with software updates. One thing that I have noticed is that water accumulates under the car after driving. It's got to be at least a pint. It's hot here in Atlanta so the AC is certainly running but it's way more than I have seen with other cars. I searched the forum and couldn't find anything. Anyone else seeing this?
Currently contemplating which light to replace my factory auxiliary lights with. I know the sentinels and baja design lights are popular but would love to get some real world feedback on what's working well and what's not. Based on the incredibly informative whitepaper by @parb I was able to determine the following 10 lux distances: Sentinel Elite 194.65m (beam spread at 10 lux unknown but likely higher than the rated 65 degrees) LP6 143.56m @136 degree beam spread XL-R 80 119.5m @62...
Agile Off-road released a kit for the Grenadier that includes all the parts and instructions needed to install a victron battery set-up.
Thread 'Grab rail light bar mount'
I’m looking to buy a Stedi micro touch dual light to be mounted right at the grab rail power supply. Stedi have the exact mounting I would like, pictured on their website but they don’t sell it, does anyone know where I could get something like pictured below? Kinda tricky to see but it looks like it just clamps to the grab rails. I’ve got the same roof rack so needs to be near identical to the picture.
Thread 'TPMS not working after tire change'
I recently had my tires swapped for new ones, no wheel changes or rotation, just a straight new tire change out. Everything worked fine for two days and then this morning then this morning the TPMS seems to have disappeared. I did, two days ago, add the ignition keyhole light from agile which did adjust the fuse - everything worked fine after that - but it was a second change. Has anyone run into this system totally disappearing and are there any suggestions on a fix? I’m going to...
It seems that few aftermarket driving lights are attached directly to the top of the front bumper. Aside from having to drill holes into the upper surface and fiddle with nuts and bolts, are there other reasons to avoid doing this?
Just picked up the truck from getting the Wolfbox installed. The camera was mounted just above the license plate with a bracket using the top 2 lic naw mounting bolts. It. Vibrates easily and makes the image jump alot. Is this a common mounting location? Is there a better external spot?
Have been trying to trace the issue for a while but nothing resolved...taking it to dealer soon. As the title says, no washer fluid to the rear wiper. Despite some suggestions - check LH footwell, connector near the tank, kinked line in the door, fuse - i'm not getting any fluid. The pump IS working as i can hear it but it's block/disconnected somewhere. I thought i may have the issue isolated but not sure of the routing - the passenger side (RH) has a lot of fluid on the ground (Around...

Don’t quite get this CTEK system. It seems to be running on BMW software that keeps it from charging normally. If I leave my overhead switch on to power my fridge/cooler and it drains the battery down overnight. Normally not a big deal except the battery doesn’t charge very well the next day. Does a quick charge to 65% or so then goes low amperage so it just trickle charges and doesn’t actually top itself back off. Drive for an hour and it may be at 70% or something. Meaning day two of...
Thread 'GP Factor Winch Install Questions'
Happy Sunday Everyone, Ive just completed my GP Factor Winch Kit install with a frustrating end result, got everything buttoned up and reconnected the battery to find the winch isn't spooling and all the lights are on in the dash. I understand Im going to have to take everything back apart to do some troubleshooting but does anyone have any idea what could have happened and what to look for going back through it? Thanks in advance for anyone taking the time to offer insights.
Thread 'Mounting a 50” / 40 amp light bar to the roof'
Hi all, not finding anyone who has done this exact set up so curious what folks recommend. I bought a Heretic 50” light bar on Black Friday sale and intended to mount it up on my roof TrailRax roof rack. As I was about to wire up the harness to the dedicated roof plug I realize this is a 40 amp system, and these are 25 amp outlets. I assume the wiring and everything is not suited to handle 40 amps even if I were to replace the fuse (unless I’m mistaken?) So now I’m trying to figure out how...
