OK I will just call it Outback grade.Just about everything has a weak point that can be improved.
As I like to say, the factory offering is just the starting point.
And beware anything that claims to be "military grade"'
The military are considered expendable after all.

A friend, Steve Young, whom I met at the Eromanga Natural History Museum in Outback Queensland on The Excellent Adventure is a guru collecting and photographing micro fossils and myxos. I have began to collect some myxo substrates (eg bark) for him while traveling in dry remote areas. On a trip to Alice Springs I collected samples from the Todd River and AWC’s Newhaven Sanctuary I was visiting.

A long way from home
You get the long drives and short/long drops. I get the long flights and cramped "rest rooms" as our US brethren so politely yet weirdly say.
Staying at Buladelah, no long drops this time.
WORD OF WARNING - do not split the Viton gasket by over-tightening the capVITON GASKET
I now have the correct size Viton gasket, linked below. I am doing some testing to ensure there are no leaks. EDIT: no leaks the Viton gasket works.
The OEM cap has 3 parts. I have removed the spout and inserted the new Vition gasket. I now must ensure the tank does not leak when traveling, while the tank is full.
The new setup is already fitted to the empty tank and the modified cap feels like a good fit. The Viton gasket seems like a better fit than the flimsy OEM gasket on the spout. Thanks Tassieman
The correct gasket is the Viton GT100-VT, from here (AU source). It is 1 inch or 25mm:
