Workshop Manuals available?

So, a bunch of people got access on the same day? Wonder how much of the performance issue is a thundering herd syndrome :)

Wiring diagrams are not included in the customer view of the documentation portal. There are some general diagrams showing harness locations but nothing at a wire/circuit level. I assume this info is available to IA dealers and agents who have full portal access.
If you're feeling adventurous you could try the pre-production schematics posted here but there may have been changes prior to production.

thanks, yeah ive checked that but was hoping these manuals would have the updated, verified info.

Anyone know if the VIN field allows me to filter to the docs that just apply to my truck? Entering something didnt seem to alter what was available.

That's one of the bits that have been switched off by design, so no.

Finally I have access, but OMG its so slow its almost unusable.

Ineos this needs to be fixed.

Cheers
Steve
The manual constantly times out, something to do with the data link to Australia limiting data.

The issue was raised with Ineos over 6 weeks ago and they acknowledged there is a problem ... but as usual, don't expect them to work out how to fix it with any sense of proactive urgency - hint - load the manual on a local server .

I don't like the way Ineos Automotive seems to develop software, it reminds me of the early days of computing back in the 80's, when coders just wrote rudimentary programs that were not very stable or robust. That led to the evolution of system architects and developers, who actually engineered high quality software systems that are designed to deal with errors and conflicts in real time (something the Grenadier can't seem to do).

With the Grenadier, the only way I know to clear incorrect warnings or things like A/C issues, is to revert to what we used to do - turn it if off, let it rest, reset all the dials and then reboot - aaaah - the good old days (weren't always that good) !

Another question for Lynn.

The Group that service my car are suffering the same and rely on Ineos sending the appropriate downloads for the job at hand.
It is almost as if they're waiting for the parts and schematics to arrive together. Then they call to book you in.
Question...I wonder if we could email Ineos with our Vin and ask for PDFs of what we are chasing, print them out and off we go...maybe the whole manual :D

Unless you are asked by Ineos Automotive to apply, i.e. it is your turn, you will be ignored.
This is incorrect. I was not invited, signed up via the link and got my email to provide title about 2m later. Manual access about 2 weeks later. Ymmv, but just sign up!

I never received an acknowledgement after filling out the form, even though I received the invitation.

Frustrating.
I didn't either. First communication was asking for the title about 2 most after filling out the form

Almost at two years of ownership and still not invited for access. This is the main issue preventing me from adding a QM to my collection.
I would set mid expectations even when you do get access. It's not a service manual in the typical sense.

Think of it as more of a slow, video game, made for people who may not have seen a FSM before. It's fantastic intro to things of you didn't know things.

Having said all that, the person I spoke with at Ineos on the phone line says they would have cleared the backlog by end October. So do make sure they know you are waiting still.

Does it serve the purpose of a service manual or is it too watered down? Can you download the content to use while doing a repair? Thanks in advance for any insight.

This is a cut and paste of the Service inspection of the 60 months/ 75km interval directly from the portal for a ROW diesel truck without a water separator, (my spec). All of the "Refer to" sections are hyperlinks to the relevant section of the manual, so lack of detail is NOT an issue. Not having a read/write ODB2 diagnostic tool is an issue, but hopefully, just for a limited time.
It is huge, massively detailed and serious overkill for the home mechanic and a bit much for a commercial shop who just want to do basic services. Finding the bit you want can be an issue as limiting the manual to show just the bits relevant to your VIN has been disabled - so you get everything!
