Which spares to carry for remote travel?

If they release that then the field tool kit should be easy to put together.

Great news that a manufacturer is thinking this way.

We used to have a club “holiday” kit for the TR6 and this was very popular to rent out back in the day…

Would be great to get a full listing of all the bolt and screw sizes and their head sizes and configurations. Could then put together a nice but simple kit of tools and spare bolts and screws. Hopefully they have kept the variants to a minimum. Would be fantastic if you only needed say six spanner and socket sizes and a couple of screwdrivers and torx sizes.

Brilliant. Is that just for Australia or a general Ineos thing ? would definitely be keen on these kits myself as we are getting the Grenadier for overlanding.
It was a general comment. Regardless, once one country does it, it should be easy to get others to follow.

INEOS seems to let good ideas flow through the network, plus it will increase revenue from parts.

A good idea and then add in another toolkit of screwdrivers, torx heads, sockets, etc. An IG centric version of this Wera toolkit: https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B00I8MYMT2/?tag=theineosforum-22

the tool kits are available as "plus" = metric, "imperial" as inch and as "KFZ" for cars. one would have to know what Ineos installed there!
I certainly hope in this day and age that a new vehicle for the global market would only come with metric fasteners.

I was going to suggest British Standard but you beat me with Whitworth! LOL

How many folk carry a Whitworth thread gauge?
You just never know if some poor Landy guy has lost his (again) in the mud, and needs your help!
My 62 LR was a frustrating combination of all three systems and it pissed me off. The metric system makes tons of sense, we all know that, but we’re too stubborn to change at this point. Thankfully, in the fields of science etc., metric is used.

But do you know why Whitworth threads were used in the first place?

The largest I ever flogged up was on the bottom end of a Doxford J series.

Edit. At least I’m 90.23% sure, the grey matter is a bit frazzled.

First standard production thread. 55 degree pitch?
