Water sloshing port side

My wife noticed a sloshing sound as we slowed and I tracked it to the left door sill cavity. I pulled the bung forward of the left rear tyre as shown and about 4 litres poured out.
I suspect it is entering via the inadequate foam seal between the plastic and the body directly below the left bonnet hinge.

Have been having the same issue and all the sensors on the car went on, any possible error was pinging. I followed your trick and check every bung, finally found the one that released at least 5L of water. Did you manage to get the foam seal fixed? Finding it extremely difficult to find an Ineos service that will take the car, they are all booked up until April (the ones near me anyway). Any advice would be appreciated!

I haven’t yet. Been waiting for a replacement battery for 8 months and was going to get them to look at that same time.
I had wondered if adhering a small “eyebrow” sloping above the vent may work to divert water away. Maybe use some 3m double sided tape a small aluminium extrusion?

I had a recall on mine for water ingress on the cross member. Never had an issue but it was done anyway. Check with your dealer.
