Stuck at Cape York

That is classic and yes unnerving...Who's the white guy? :ROFLMAO: (y)
Well that guy in the picture called Jonesy, we went and found him on my African travels in the Grenadier. He lives in Cape Maclear in Malawi. We took him on some travels through Zambia in year 2000. We knew him from Cape Maclear as we used to frequent the lake at weekends when we lived in Malawi. The crazy thing is our windscreen wipers didn’t work. So we fashioned a loop of twine around the windscreen and into the cab. When it rained Jonesy would pull the twine back and forth to make the windscreen wipers work. We had a great laugh over a few beers talking about that in November 2023 in Cape Maclear. 🍺

Most prob seen this at Gunshot but I've just happened across it;

Rarely do any people do any damage reports after GunShot besides the videos where it all goes wrong. Fans through radiators would be common or the radiator leaking from unseen damage weeks later. The Grenadier radiator look vulnerable pushing through mud like in the video and guessing it would not be cheap to replace.

We got to get through the US and Euro video editorials and the usual Aussie reviews yet. With two water related incidents reported on in the last week this topic going to be getting creators views and revenue for some time.
Wasn't the second one on CSR tied to getting stuck in mud and water at around 700mm. That water never got in engine but because it sat in water for 4 days, it's consider a goner?

Wonder what it would take to have a 'humidity' sensor ahead of the air box, that could trigger an engine shutdown on detecting water. Save the engine.. likely not easy to implement.

On a different note, I remember in the 90s travelling in Mongolia a lot of the 4x4's used to have raised exhausts!

New Cadogan video. Looks even worse for Canny et al.

New Cadogan Video
In summary, Canny and Fowler told whoppers in the now taken down video. Trust them at your own risk.

INEOS had given lots of info to Cadogan in the latest video. Much more than the INEOS press release dated 3 Dec 2025. The evidence supports what INEOS is saying and appears to contradict Canny and Fowler.

I have unsubscribed from the Canny Outdoor YouTube channel. I have lost respect and trust in John.

After getting the Insurance company to cover the car damage and then put out that video deserves a nomination for The Darwin Awards* this week, for both John and Arthur.

A very sad state of affairs, which has unfairly harmed the IG and INEOS.

*The Darwin Awards salute the improvement of the human genome by honoring those who accidentally remove themselves from it in a spectacular manner!
