I haven’t seen this in the forums so perhaps I’m an anomaly. I can’t get my driver’s side view mirror adjusted out enough to get a proper use of it. Currently, I’ve pushed the mirror out beyond the motor’s adjustment and have replaced the OEM glass with SUMA’s concave mirror. Even still, half of my side view is of the body. It makes the blind spot a b*#%! on the highway.

For the record, this was an issue before the SUMA mirrors. I can at least get a little more side-view with these new mirrors. I’m also 6’4 and drive with my seating position pretty far back. LHD in the US.

Anyone have this experience or a solution? I’m really hoping someone like Clear View eventually comes out with a product for us.

I had same problem. I just push the whole mirror body out further and mine has remained where I left it. Granted not great but worked for me.

Yep same for me. I'm not as tall as you but still can't adjust the mirror out as far as I'd like it to be. Not a problem I've ever had with other cars either I have to say.

In my experience, I can’t get the mirror to stay when I push the body of the mirror out. The retention spring pulls it back into the stock position.

I might try to create a shim to sandwich between the mirror housing and the door as a temporary solution. Although it sucks to have to do this with a new vehicle!
