I’ve noticed that the front side windows collect grime due to airflow from the A pillar and I think the side mirrors.

It seems in rain/wet, that grime collects right where you’d look through the window to look in the mirror, and the mirror picks up gunk too. In the winter, the side windows pick up ice accumulation in the same spot.

I think it is the big square, flat shape of the mirrors seems to be encouraging it? Anyone else notice it? Thoughts on how to prevent it? Maybe strip of airflow interruptions along the inside edge or something?

I've started keeping a couple of cleaning cloth's & water repellant glass cleaner to give them a clean as and when necessary.

Yeah, another poster wanted to explore this too but the conversation got side tracked to windshield gasket/trim.
