General Service Reset Procedure - Oil Change (currently only possible with dealer level scan tools)

Another quirk: after driving all day yesterday without switching off, the time and distance service overdue warnings reappeared after having been turned off with the trip switch technique at the start of the trip - probably eight or nine hours.

The technique wouldn't clear them for the rest of the trip. This morning the technique worked again. I should have tried turning off and restarting yesterday to see whether that is what made the difference.
Same with mine. I have to press the trip button just after start up or wait for it to go to sleep.

I get that from time to time, when the button on the stalk doesn't clear the warnings. It gets stuck just scrolling through the display informaiton (remaining range, driving distance, time ....), even with the warning on the screen, it still scrolls through the information in the background.

Sometimes changing the screen clears the highlight around the information and then it does clear the warning, but other times the warnings just don't clear.

Another of those software glitches that can only be cleared by turning off the car and leaving it to 'reset' for a while.

The software is not very good. It's like a beta version with testing code still in it, limited error checking and no real-time recovery.

Hopefully Ineos Automotive is doing a full re-write with someone competent managing the process !!
