That's got the makings of a viable alternative to towing a camper trailer. I'm not sure however how they'd accommodate a 195cm length bed into the Gren. ...unless the front seats were moved to the forward extremity. Then there's the issue of no cargo barrier...Another option besides Gearmate, and a "sleeper" to boot:

Wow.Here is my drawer project for my 2 seater Grenadier.
It’s 100cm deep at the base and 159 deep at the top, 105cm wide and 85cm high.
This is the main element of a tailor-made system which will also comprise some storing compartments over the wheel arches and in one of the two empty volumes near the rear side panels. I’m reserving the second one for a gull wing when there will be one aftermarket solution available.
The 20cm remaining between the top of the system and Grenadier’s roof will be used to store some chairs, tables, mosquito nets and walls for the James Baroud awning…

Ahh yes, nothing my passengers love more than receiving a tablet to the chest if the airbag deploys....Superkarpata fit out:View attachment 7813505
Probably 10mm plywood, and a raptor black finish. That is very impressive JB.
What is it made out of ?
Shapr3D on iPad. The free version lets you create two different projects only, and you can’t apply any textures. What are you guys using to draw up your drawer system? I haven't used cad since high school. I am not an architect so any free or easy to use systems would be great.
How many square meters are there in total ? ... 10mm ply is approx 4.5kgs/M2.Probably 10mm plywood, and a raptor black finish.
I have the 2 seater.Awesome- what version do you have? I didn’t think 100cm deep and vertical to the roof in the front would fit in a station wagon??
I’d say approximately 10m2. But some cut out will be done where possible to reduce the weight. How many square meters are there in total ? ... 10mm ply is approx 4.5kgs/M2.
Would you not indulge them and instead switch off the passenger airbag?Ahh yes, nothing my passengers love more than receiving a tablet to the chest if the airbag deploys....
I have a Tap near my house and I was going to talk them about the drawer system. Thanks for helping confirm my ideaThis is a good alternative to ply and IMO would be a lot better.
Easy to cut, can be welded or glued, easy to clean, lighter, no need to paint etc.
An American site but is available in the EU.
I’ll have a look but I’m not that much into plastic. Neither the craftsman who is going to make it…This is a good alternative to ply and IMO would be a lot better.

Anyway, do you have a web link in Europe ? Nothing showed up immediately on google…This is a good alternative to ply and IMO would be a lot better.
