Recall notice

I got the letter for the recall. I never had a problem with sticking door buttons. I’ll probably complete the recall when the parts are available. The thought of a door opening while driving is terrifying.

Same. I thought it was funny that they can't actually fix them yet. My door handles were only sticking over the winter, so as long as they get them fixed by this fall then all good.
Mine were sticking in the cold, but also started sticking again recently. Looking forward to getting that fixed, along with the annoying "Check Engine" I get every time I fill up at a gas pump it doesn't like.

Got the letter in the mail last week. I dont have any issues with my doors sticking but as others have stated when the parts come in I will have them cover this under the recall.

Guessing here, but if your VIN is between CA0 and CA5, you're in the range, and if it includes CA5, and the next letter is lower than R you are in the range. If your next letter is R, go to the next character, F, and rinse and repeat etc.

FWIW, I'm a CA3 and have not yet received the recall notice.
My understanding re VIN is …

SC6 = INEOS Automotive
G = Grenadier
M1 = Wagon
C = Petrol
A = Left Hand Drive
Next digit = Check digit
Next digit = Model year (P = 2023 / R = 2024 / S = 2025)
F = Hambach plant
Last 6 digits = Production number

Damn… I was hoping my vehicle wasn’t included but I’m within the last 100 VINs on the recall… so close! Frustrating, as I’ve not experienced sticky buttons at all but like others it will probably show up in time. Not really looking forward to having the door cards pulled off as damage, broken retaining clips, torn vapor barriers plus the chances of things going back together as tight and rattle free as they are now seems unlikely. It would be nice if software updates for ADAS, Service Reset, TPMS, etc… would be available at the same time recall work gets done but I’m not holding my breath.

Agree 100%. I won’t be heading in for this recall until January 2026 for my annual warranty
Service.

I took mine in for windshield replacement and all warranty work needed. Have 2,700mi on it after 1 year. Had the 1year service done and waiting to finish up to go get it back. They got the door handle recall parts in and went ahead and did that as well. To bad no software updates to fix the dings clicks and chimes.

Hi all,

I just got a recall notice for the door buttons. It's NHTSA Recall number 25V147 and they are going to replace all exterior door buttons once parts have been received. Anyone else getting this one?
I haven't gotten the notice yet. I did have a problem with the passenger door exterior button sticking. They said they would order the part but after a month it solved itself.
Matt
