Can we all come to agreement and establish a standard when discussing a issue/problem with Grenadier. Please state the engine, RHD/LHD, model and if applicable to issue the set up. It will help others who might or might not have a issue.

Good idea, but to avoid to have to repeat it every time, I did put a description of my car in my signature. I will add now that it is LHD, in full words, I hate abbreviations ;-)

Like so? (pattern suggestion):

LHD, Diesel, Utility 5 seat
Issue: Get three bongs 5 seconds after I turn the key to 'ON'.
Effect: none
Reproduce:
- start from scratch: car is off, no key inserted,
- insert key, turn to 'ON' position. All control lamps in driver display go ON.
- after five seconds, the lights go off and three bongs sound

Another example:

LHD, Diesel, Fieldmaster
Issue: "Power steering Error" message appears in lower left corner of the head unit. Color is read. Message repeatedly disappears for a while and comes back after another while.
Effect: varies, no effect in most cases as well as sudden power steering failure
Reproduce:
- random event.

New (or old) problem on my car: airco doesn't work!

Why do I say "or old": because first time I try to use it, I don't like the cold air of airco. The fans were blowing hard, but no cooling.

@Jean Mercier, I think there will be a recall/campaign for this. There is a loose nut which leads to a compressor fluid and gas leak. It has happened to me and others have reported it on Facebook. It explains the small stains on my driveway and no A/C. Mine is going back to the agents next week to be fixed.

I have the "power steering error" quite often, I usually do not start with the warning on (but I have done it in the beginning I had the car), but I NEVER experienced the failure!

My AC is fine - any clue as to where is this "NUT"? Will ensure it's tight.

My aircon in the car is on every day of the year.
Temperature set to 22.
Even when I have the roof open and the windows down.

Not yet. Off-road driving is not in sight at the moment. And I won't fix the cable thing until the error messages are gone. "You've changed the electronics" they might say ....

I'm currently clarifying whether my agent agrees that I can drive the car despite the messages. I have written a registered mail and asked them for a written answer.

My agent said as ling as the messages are on the centre screen - I should ignore them. However, I understand your concerns! Hopefully, you achieve clarification soon!

Does it only happen when opening or does it also occur when closing?
