Pondering selling mine, is there a for sale forum yet?

Quite a few of those things sound like faults.

For a brief while, I had regrets. It happened after I got to three faults. Now its down to two faults, both of which waiting for Ineos to sign off on repair/replacement, I feel less regrets and I bet when I get to zero faults, the regret would be totally gone.
Agree. Had doubts too but I have zero faults after recent service and it drives, turns as smooth as silk. So happy knowing that I’ve got a heavy duty bad ass truck that you cant purchase anymore and it doesn’t have any of the ADAS nannies. Understand the frustration, as all new cars have them.

What do you mean, ".. that you cant purchase anymore"? Still talking about the Grenadier?

New cars these days are terrible with all the new nannies. I have a 2024 MX5, and it grabs the steering wheel and pulls you back in line if you don’t indicate whilst changing lane. It’s just dam right dangerous in my view. The over speed bongs, bongs from google maps for speed cameras, bongs if your too close to the line. All those bongs confuses the heck out of me and is a major distraction. It’s not just Ineos, it’s all new cars some better than others. What did we all do although years before this rubbish.

I had a BMW and a Mercedes both on separate occasions try to yank the steering wheel on the motorway into the next lane and trying to kill me when the lane marking were absent due to roadworks or obscured by rain. I refuse to drive cars with such evil extras installed now. I am more than capable of killing myself without help from a computer thank you. 🙏🏾

BMW's "lane assist" nearly took me into several roadworks barriers last year in Germany and France, with no "quick" way to turn it off. We had a rental X5 a few weeks ago here in the US and found that BMW removed the auto stop/start button from the center console on the latest model years, requiring you to go on a touch screen adventure to turn it off

Gave my daughter my 2016 LR4, the auto stop/start button has been broken from within a month of purchasing it. They fixed it under warranty, it died again and refused to let them fix it. Still get a warning on the dash but 8 years of nanny free driving. My ex's 2019 RR Sport has it on the touchscreen- pretty sure all LR/RRs are that way now.

As much of a PITA it is, thank God we're still old school and they didn't put the damn auto start/stop with the overspeed switch.
