Happy new year! 1852 here:View attachment 7917955

I made sure to leave my phone in airplane mode to prevent the Grenadier from syncing its clock. Time is correct, but the date shows 2032/01/01:

I wonder if that is the bug, or related to it. Grenadier was serviced last month and the number seems off by one year: 365*(2032-2026) + 27 - 365

After I disabled airplane mode and CarPlay connected, the date/time synced. Looks like the service reminder is sticky and not calculated based on actual service date and current date.
Interesting and perhaps hope that we can reset remotely… no dealers or service centers in Portugal where I be.

I saw this on reddit and just confirmed it for my 2025 Grenadier Trialmaster:

I have less than 2500 miles, so clearly this is an error. Owners are reporting this across the world, so I'd expect INEOS will want to issue a software update pretty quick.

EDIT: Mods feel free to delete this thread or move it over to the main thread @TheDocAUS identified below. Searched first but didn’t see anything.

Yup! I think everyone with the software update got the message.. I am guessing that it reset back to the manufactured date... Kind of cool and kind of annoying...

It is time for everyone to comment on Lynn Calder’s LinkedIn new years post. A few months ago I made a comment on her post about moving into their new NA headquarters. I simply asked if anyone that dance new office was planning on fixing the front driveshaft issue. A week later, Gregor Hembrough, the EVP and North America contacted me and we had a great phone call.

Clearly, Lynn or her people take notice to comments on LinkedIn. I propose that we all comment on her most recent post and demand that the software fix include a way for the owner to reset service intervals. It will get her attention and unlike this forum or facebook it will not go ignored.

INEOS should unlock our ability to turn it off. Same for the oil changes. I have 2200 miles and now this is on my screen. At 1600 mi the 12K service was completed by my local shop. They could not reset anything. I have a feeling this will take years to "fix".

I would like to thank the Ineos Academy, my manger, family and specifically my vehicle for allowing me to receive such an honor. I can’t tell you how proud I am and want others to know if they try hard enough without actually doing anything they can equally reach such heady heights. :)

Based on the last 20 hours you will hold the lead for about 3 hours, before you are dethroned.

Happy new year! I’m 2057 days. Near the top but not winning. Frankly, this is sorta funny. Hoping the outcome is that we can rest our own service intervals.

I had a feeling that seeing my car was about 5 years overdue a service wasn't going to be unique to me! I took mine out today to take the dog to the park for a walk and it said my Grenadier was 1892 days overdue a service. A bit of a shock as I got is serviced 2 months ago. I wonder how long before there is a fix to the glitch and what it will involve. Fortunately my car is going in for some warranty recall updates in 4 weeks so I am hoping they can fix this as well.

1800ish for me. One of the children noticed yesterday that the date read 01.01.2025 or 26. Reads 01.01.2026 today.
