I just noticed a white residue on a component under the bonnet. Not sure if this is normal or not?

The A/C has been 'fixed' several times by my agent due to faulty hose connection but was surprised to see it looking like this. The heating/cooling has been working fine over the last few months.

Then ist wasn't cleaned after they worked on it...clean it and check again in a week.
