Exterior Trim Seals

Was taking a closer look at some of the exterior trim work and noticed the plastic trim below the windshield looks a bit sloppy. It looks like it’s just a piece of foam stuck to the trim and attached…but it doesn’t sit flush on the metal. Does that look normal? The picture isn’t great…had to mess with the contrast a bit to show what I’m talking about.

That trim is just a cover for access to the cabin filter underneath. Had the same thoughts when I first saw it as you did.
