Exactly the same for me. Before I decided on the Grenadier I had been looking for a good Landcruiser. No chance in the U.K. or Ireland. All the ones for sale seem riddled with rust. The very few I know of that have been with same owner from new are cherished, well looked after and certainly not for sale. They’re all rusty AF here in UK. I looked at various 80’s and 100’s a few years ago, they were all rotten![]()
No not an 80. You want the 105. Given you are lovely going to want the petrol anyway being in the USA. Source in a nice 105.You guys are making me want an 80!
I never got around to owning an 80, but since we couldn’t get the 70 in the states, the 80 was high up there… until the Grenadier arrived.
But now the idea keeps popping up to find an 80 and nurse it back to health.
This is exactly it. There are a fair few serviceable LCs around, and a few really nice condition ones - very hard to convince someone to let go of them.Exactly the same for me.
