My Grenadier in the Simpson Desert (Lake Caroline claypan). 8,000km over 3 weeks, 200L of diesel on board, 100L of water, 4T GVM upgrade and sitting at 3.92T fully loaded.
Awesome trip, no car issues :)

Great photo. Are you carrying the 200L of diesel with a long range tank + those jerry's on the side? how about the water storage?

Fuel: 90l factory, 68l Brown Davis, and 2 x 20l jerrys (one each side molle panel) = Total 198 litre
Water: 20l jerry with internal pump at rear ladder (LeTech ladder}, 1 x 40l water tank (PAK Offroad ute tub) installed behind rear seat after moving seat back brackets to forward position so that seat back is vertical (10min job), 1 x 40l water tank rear footwell (PAK Offroad Footwell Tank). Note that with the rear water tank installed I can still get up 6 front runner boxes in rear cargo space plus a 55l dometic slide out fridge - almost perfect fit as boxes held in place by table on rear door.

What was your total fuel consumption across the Simpson, from Mt Dare to Birdsville or vice versa? I did west to east some years ago.

The mount broke off the bullbar but as we part of a convoy it wasn't an issue.
My sand flag is similar to your UHF aerial, on the roof rack.

I will be doing the same as you and also the same what I have done for the GME arial in the next couple of days - just waiting delivery of the mounting bracket.
