High Output Aux Switch Replacement?

Baja Designs did me dirty on their spec sheets (or maybe I just read too fast), but I have four LP4s which I though would pull 5.5A each resulting in a 22A draw- perfect for my EXT5 25A switch. Turns out, each is 6.5A- 26A total.

The factory 10awg wire should be fine based on the length of my run, but I would prefer to simply swap out the rocker switch to a 30A versus running an independent switch or adding a SwitchPro/Garmin setup. I can always use a relay, but not sure why my Ineos advisor tried talking me out of that and unable to articulate clearly why.

Anyone have any suggestions for a similar style rocker that would fit the bill? Or does anyone have more knowledge of the other than obvious differences between the 500A factory switch versus the 25A? I want to keep it on the EXT5 circuit in the current position.

I doubt the rocker switch actually switches 25A. It runs low amperage to switch a relay that provides 30A.

I would just use the same wire from EXT5 to switch your own relay for whatever amperage you want.

Or just run it as is. Worst that could happen is you pop the fuse or burn the truck down.

Also FYI according to the Baja Designs website LP4 pro is 5.5a draw. But it lists 1.0a draw for the secondary lighting. You might check with them to see if the 1.0a draw is part of the 5.5a or in addition too.

Confirmed with an amp meter; each light draws 6.5A. If the Ineos factory relay is in fact 30A, I don’t see a problem… I would just want confirmation that the relay is in fact 30A. I haven’t been able to find it in any working schematic nor visual inspection. You can’t run dual relays though, correct? I never had a vehicle with a built in relay.
