Wired off the NATO plug relay live side (its is in the rear at the right hand side of the vehicle under the removable cover). Installed with an inline resettable fuse.
It has 500 Amp capability (and before the relay mean's it battery live and not controlled via the Internal Switch, or running the Engine requirement of the Winch Circuit on the 500Amp EXT Switch on the overhead switches)

The NATO plug circuitry is good to tap into , but it requires a bit of effort and a few extra $ - more than just a couple of wires and cheap plugs.

Etbandit, did you end up running an Anderson straight from the cranking battery?
I will, and just need to find the best way to run the cables....

Good timing with the question as I'm currently in the process. Had to take the rear seats out and remove the rear driver side boot trims and wheel guards. Then run the Anderson +V cable from the spare 60A fuse to the rear bash plate via the route outlined in the photos. Anderson -V cable will terminate at chassis earth under the wheel arch. I'll also be installing a Redarc SBI12 between the 60A fuse and Anderson plug to kill power when the ignition is off as my Anderson will be used to charge the caravan battery and I don't wish to run the BCDC blue ignition wire all the way from the van to the car.

Hope this helps. If anyone has a more efficient solution, please chime in as I'm yet to crimp the lugs on and make the connections.

My dealer wired the Anderson x 2 Red and Grey with outputs next to the 12pm flat on resettable fuses from the live side of the NATO supply. It’s way less copper. Comes from the starter battery and more likely to be shorted so resettable is cool.

And only involves taking the over wheel side cover off

Did it all work out ok? Have you got any pictures of the finished wiring job?

Worked out well. Wired up as described in post #5. Finished product in photos below. Use 60A spare fuses in the littlefuse busbar, through to the redard SBI12 solenoid, then to the Anderson at the rear. SBI12 blue ignition wire to a minifuse piggyback and into fuse F121 or F122 (seat heater) to cut power when ignition is off. Ground to chassis earth.

Getting 43A charge when plugged into the caravan the lithium using a Redarc1240D (Note: Wired with 3B&S cable on the car side to reduce voltage loss but requires the use of a 120A Anderson plug. Original caravan cables is 7B&S)
