I agree that its not their fault these tariffs are in place, I also agree they have the right to pass this cost along to consumers. It is certainly their responsibility to inform themselves and consumers of the additional cost if they want to do good business. My problem is their lack of knowledge and communication of this if they are offering international shipping. Every manufacture I work with sends out emails and communications on changes of pricing due to duties, tarriffs, cost of materials, etc... these are not new things in business that just started happening in 2025.

In my business when we make a mistake due to our lack of knowledge/experience and it costs me money, I do not pass that along to my customer. I take it as loss and a lesson learned in business and make adjustments to assure less mistakes are made in the future. If one loss is going to cripple your business you are not running a good business. Not sure if that's the case here, but that is way they are acting about this $1500 restocking fee on a product that never even made it out of customs

Ongoing investigation but it's AMEX. I have good confidence i'll get my money back for a good/service I paid for and never received.

USA Buyers beware! They will be well past there expected ship times. Ordered in April, when they finally do ship, DHL will contact you saying they are holding your products and need to collect $2000 in duties. You will reach out to GrenX for them to tell you it has to be a mistake and to dispute with DHL. DHL will tell you they are legitimate duties that are due that were not paid by the shipper. Then DHL will contact you saying the products are being sent back because the duties were not paid. Then GrenX will then try to keep $1500 of the $4000 you spent just for their trouble of not knowing how to manufacture and ship internationally. Then you will have to dispute this with your credit card company.

So unless you want to pay $6000+ for this I'd let them get some things figured out on shipping internationally.

Since you have brought this into public discussion I'll copy in @GrenX so he can review your concerns and respond as he chooses. GrenX (Rohan) is a supporting vendor of the forum and deserves the courtesy to comment.
