Factory fitted 13 pin trailer socket

On my Trialmaster I have a factory fitted tow bar and 13 pin socket(standard UK/EU spec), pin 10 on the socket should be wired to engine/ignition on.
This then enables the fridge in the caravan to run from the vehicle whilst driving and the vehicle battery being charged.
On the socket pin 10 is not wired and the terminal pin insert is not in the socket.
Has anyone else come across this or is mine just incorrectly installed.
If anyone else who has found this problem I would interested to hear their solution.

Rok Dr Guide should show you the correct wiring diagram. Look at Appendix 3.

What MY is your Trialmaster @Hagar?

The UK/EU/ROW MY23 doesn’t have contacts 10, 11 or 12 fitted. I don’t think this changed for later MY. The US market has some local variations.

That’s only half your answer. You’ll still need a local solution. My AUS market is different again.

The european wiring setups for the factory towbar options dont come with 10,11 and 12 wired.
Very annoying but I G say it meets eu regs.
Complained about it when we got ours too and was told a fix/upgrade was coming, still waiting!

Gave up waiting and wired in a new plug.

the Au Mys4 QM has the grey electric brake wire at least wired from the battery compartment to the rear deutch plug 250mm back from the 13 pin , you could pick this up and put a flat deutch male in the rear part of the socket and then use a TE round pin in the 13 pin outlet. see if you have 4 capped off wires coming out of the loom under the rear seat.

of course you would still need to connect the back seat part to a suitable feed,
