Grenadier Servicing Price USA

I live just south of Jacksonville, Crown quoted me $400 for the mobile service. I am not sure what type of service can be done in a mobile setting. It does seem hight but it is cheaper than 8 hours of my time driving to the dealership and extra wear an tear on the Grenadier. I just think the Labor cost are crazy for such basic services I guess I am just showing my age!
I would pay that.

RDS in Philly:

12k Service - Oil change, F/R differential fluid, tire rotation, cabin filter, without doing wipers, visual inspection of vehicle, top off fluids.
Labor - $450
Qty 1 GRA-1000-012600 Oil Filter $30.16
Qty 7 LiquiMoly TopTec 6600 0W-20 Oil $66.43
Qty 5 Kendall 80W-90 Gear Oil $74.55
Qty 1 GRA-2G00-036590 HVAC Filter $67.52

$688.66 Total (without tax)
Sorry I'm late to the party, but did the dealership have the Liqui Moly oil or did you bring it with you to them?

That's the oil they indicated on the invoice that they used... I've used LM lubricants for many years, back from my time working at a shop, so no concerns from me on that

I know especially after racking up a $2700 tab!
These service charges are out-freaking-rageous! Do these shops claim customers are not allowed inside due to "insurance regulations"?

I used to have a nice boat (nicer than cheap me could mentally afford). It's difficult to push back against boat yard invoices when one obviously has the money to afford the rig. I found the best approach was to get in there and get my hands dirty and work right along with the yard crew no matter how dirty the job. Earned respect from the crews cut invoices down considerably. I learned a lot about boat maintenance and also heard lots of yard gossip and inside baseball talk- and learned many shortcomings of the crews skills.

An advantage INEOS owners might have is since it's a new vehicle and supposedly made for remote travel is to show eagerness to learn about the vehicle while overseeing the work. I'd play up the interested newbie and stroke their ego enough to get them talking tech and see how much they actually know about what they are doing- all the while keeping time on my watch.

If they wouldn't let me in the shop, I'd be strategically seated in the waiting room where I could see my truck and how many hands touched it and for how long. Just because you paid $100k for a truck doesn't mean you should get bled for oil changes and tire rotations.
