I just did an AI search for Grenadier 120k service, and it came back with $1500-$2000 and gave a list of what was expected- all fluids etc. Personally I'd ask for a breakdown of the costs, they should provide this. If not get a good mechanic who specialises in EU vehicles to do it.

We have all established the servicing costs are ridiculous!! I want to support ineos automotive and the resellers/agents buts it frustrating that we have backed these guys initially by buying the vehicles and then get stung like this when servicing. But taking the leap initially, you want to put your mind at rest and keep warranty etc having it serviced by ineos agents but it's overpriced most definitely.

I’m tempted to go to non Ineos service provider but my understanding is that you lose roadside assistance if not serviced by a Ineos dealer.
All dealers seem to be charging huge amounts. I have a ranger and the local ford dealer charges $180 per hour.

I thought the roadside assistance was only for the first two years? If you have done 120,000kms in under two years that's a fine effort, you should be in the Ineos ads!

Sounds cheap against $4k for a service v half that at a non dealer……..

Warranty is 5 years unlimited km. In the roadside assistance T&C’s it mentions service standards.

Take note that the warranties vary greatly between markets. The NAS is 5 years too but limited in mileage at 60k miles.

They also made the comment that the transmission should have been serviced at 105000km service and the 120000km service is just a standard 15000km service. I don’t beleive my transmission was done at 105000km so am getting them to do it at the 120000km service.

From my reading of the T&Cs there isn’t a stated requirement for an Ineos Dealer to undertake the service.

That seems a lot more realistic, still expensive. Could be worth getting a quote from a bmw/ euro independent specialist workshop, and putting up with the service light till next service. You would think all the recalls and software updates are done now for one with this many kilometres.

Just had 120000km service done at the Ballarat dealer.$2200.00. Had a quote from another dealer for $4000.00.
Was really impressed with the Ballarat dealer. Took 2 days but they also did all outstanding warranty issues including the AC leaking water in passanger footwell. Seems the dash didn’t need pulling out. I think they just unblocked drain tubes.
Very impressed and will defiantly be going back.

I just had my 30,000km service done ( 26,200km odometer reading ) by American Motors the South Australian Ineos dealership, and I am extremely happy with their service.
They replaced the engine oil and filter, front and rear diff oils, transfer case oil, air filter, fuel filter, water separator, Hvac climate filter, and adjusted the hand brake, and all the other checks.
They performed a software update, and replaced all the door locks.
As a member of the newly formed South Australian Ineos club, American Motors is giving club members a 10% discount on all services, and also letting us use their premasis for our meetings, so my bill with the 10% discount came to a total $818.49 or for Americans $577.37 US at today's US to AU exchange rate.
