I agree which is why I prefer sealed u-joints without a grease zerk. In my DC drive shafts it is always the centering ball that goes out first. The u-joints are often still in fine condition but if you are replacing the ball it is silly not to do the joints as well.Keep in mind rovers DC shaft was lifetime greased. I'm not suggesting anything specific, just pointing out that U joints can often go a very long time without renewing the grease. Same goes for the centering ball in a DC.
-Rzeppa from Terraflex , so easy to find , and with a special pice to don't colaps the clips like the other
Try to avoid the four pops and a purge when changing a nappy.Brings a tear to the eye. Old school upkeep, like changing a nappy, a bit messy but you know it needs to be done from time to time!

You're not that old yet Tazzie?Brings a tear to the eye. Old school upkeep, like changing a nappy, a bit messy but you know it needs to be done from time to time!
88K miles! That’s 3.5 times around the Earth. Perhaps Ineos Automotive should have hired you for vehicle testing and we would have discovered all our vehicle flaws sooner.Really excited for this, I’m still on the original front a rear CV’s at 88K miles. I carry spre Terrflex kits, but would be happy to have Sven’s solution!
My plan is to swap when out of warranty. 88k proves they can last so there must be more to it than we think. I'm only on 33k but 3 years old next month so time will catch up with me on the warrantyReally excited for this, I’m still on the original front a rear CV’s at 88K miles. Ideally I want a failure at almost 5 years, a new propshaft and the old one back in my hands. But that won't happen. Or maybe it might? My plan is to swap when out of warranty. 88k proves they can last so there must be more to it than we think.
