I did. That's how I knew it was long. I didn't see the answer I was looking for so I asked. I thought that was what a forum was for.
Fella... You say you know he just came out with it, and you're asking if anyone has run it for 20k miles.... so no, no one has done 300hrs at highway speed in the past month since the beginning of the thread.

Like my 6th grade science teacher told me... "Zimm, there are no stupid questions, just questions you should be able to answer yourself."

I don't recall what my what my question was, but I'm sure that wasn't the answer I was expecting either. Now, go use that head of yours.

It's my understanding that nobody in the US aside from maybe the distributor has even gotten one of these in their hands yet. Totally understandably so since they are more or less working at almost a preorder level.

That said, assuming build quality I have every confidence the design will solve all the drive shaft issues.

Is the driveshaft the same for all variants? Ie petrol/diesel and right hand/ left hand drive?

There is only one part number for the front driveshaft in the illustrated parts catalogue.

Ok , sorry for that late replied , i try to replied everyone

why my shaft is better ? i don't really know , maybe because i use better quality parts , no Chineese , no poor , just races quality double UJ support , i have the same on my races cars

why it's so expensive ? for the same reasons , race parts are expensive , and for this time i just do a limited number , maybe in a few months it will be cheaper , but with races parts it's difficult

what can i said to you ? i try with 1-4" lift and i don't have any vibs , i try with hight speeds , no problem , no vibs , nothing with a 3.5T carplant trailer , i do 10.000Km with it and send it to David from Design Build and Go so now i wait for him

why no one else can do it ? i really don't know , but here we have all the tools to equilibrate the Rzeppa on the DC , maybe it's part of the replied

now i work on the engine , B58 , first stage is flex fuel and 400hp , done on mine , second stage is 500hp with a Downpipe and some small mods , end of the month , after i have to do a charge pipe , BMW's plastic one is really fragile and after i maybe do a complete uprated intake manifold .

The Rzeppa/DC driveshaft combination will certainly fix the failing boot issue on the front shaft which is great. Besides IA not officially admitting the failures are a legitimate design problem and issuing a fix or recall. What other possible reason would/could IA point to as to why they wouldn’t adopt such a seemingly straightforward redesign even for new stock vehicles coming off the production line?

Is it cost, lack of engineering resources, running the DC at less than ideal angles, ongoing maintenance requirements to keep the DC happy. If the Rzeppa/DC shaft can potentially outlive a current front driveshaft even for non-lifted vehicles why wouldn’t they switch to it to try and cut down on the failures and bad impression these issue are creating for the brand?

I just got mine tuned with catless we are guessing about 430hp.... Still driving around testing it out before I drop a review. I would be very interested in being an early adopter of your solution if you can PM me with some details and how to buy.
