My setup with Heleoutdoors.com Hele Box was comfy for a recent Big Bend National Park overlanding trip.

Does the bed move / rattle when you are driving off pavement?

No rattling when I have gear on top and below the bed whilst driving offroad. I don't have the Hele tied down, either, but that's an option.

Two Hele solos will fit at 24" wide each, but the left one will have to sit higher in order to clear the wheel well plastic panel in the trunk/boot. You could raise the right solo to match the left one, but you're both losing more headroom if you have a shelf like the one Black Sheep offers. The duo is 40" side as opposed to two solos at 48".

Of all the sleeping platforms I've perused, the Hele Box has the best adjustability. You shorten it lengthwise and raise or lower each leg.
