Fender Plate options

Plenty of options for you. I went GP Factor.

I don't know if there is. Although, I would guess fenders and wings have different part numbers. I got the info from someone who consulted with INEOS regarding the fender/wing diamond plate.
A bit dubious until we can cite official IA source? To your point, interesting that they call out RoW and USMCA.

IA documentation here.

Says right there that USMCA and RoW trucks have additional reinforcement... without the reinforcement (EU trucks) it makes sense the wings will support less weight.

But if you prefer to disagree until IA gives a statement... 👍🏻

330 lbs = 198 lbs... perfecto! Short answer is, if you have any fender plate installed, get up there and dance, or change a light bulb, that's what they're for. Beyond coffee or beer.

Disagreeing? I'm just asking for some official IA documentation homey. lmao

I can see two front fender (wing) documents in the parts catalog:
1. MY23>
2. ANZ MY23>

The fender PN is the same in both docs. The difference is the wing repeater lamp. ANZ uses a different lamp due to regulatory requirements for a higher rated vehicle mass. ANZ is 3550kg. Other markets are 3500kg.
There is no EU market document.

MY23 >. Fender PN GRA-7A41-010011.

ANZ MY23 >. Same fender PN. Different repeater PN.

Based on this I'm unconvinced about the EU market having softer fenders for softer pedestrians.

The checker plate option acts a load spreader to give the 198 > 300lbs load upgrade. Here's the view inside the installed fender looking rearwards behind the headlight panel. That's the top of washer bottle.
No special bracing here but the underside of the fender is ridged for strength. This is my MY23 without the checker plate option.

Fender plates are not legal in the UK as they stiffen up the front end, so are more likely to damage pedestrians, (more!)

There are some gruesome pictures from RTCs where the riveted plates have sliced into the person the wing buckled around, (old-shaped Defenders, not Grenadiers). Whether that changes the outcome for the victim is a moot point, as 2 tonnes at 30mph tends to be fatal anyway.
