I just installed seat covers by Escape Gear.

A pretty straight forward install, about 45 minutes? I didn't check the clock, but it didn't take long. Good documentation on the install process included. The covers are nicely made, seams are good and the fabric feels good. I ordered the polycotton canvas which only comes in a charcoal color. It's a cotton / polyester blend and feels pretty tough.

I like the fit, a few wrinkles, but not too bad. The fit feels tight and secure, even if it all isn't all laying down quite flat. A little more time on my end shifting things around may get more wrinkles out.

My only issues are with the cutouts for the seat belts and the head rests. These cutouts are only trimmed with a flat black tape. Heat applied? My wife, who does more sewing and upholstery said they're fine, but they don't look very durable to me. Especially on the rear seats where people, and animals, will be sliding over them. The cutouts for the seat belts also seem overly large and maybe prone to getting caught on. Also one side of rear 40 seat has is very thin section around the seat belt, this is a tough spot and the thin seat cover there may not last.

Mine was made to order and I had to wait a week as well as shipping time from South Africa.

Overall I'm pretty happy with the covers. Just need to see if the taped edges on the back seat hold up long term, maybe a non-issue.

The rears look great to me... can you buy them separately from the front? I am only looking to protect the seats from 2x muddy dogs.

I fitted Escape Gear covers last month (light khaki option), fits well and fairly easy install. Also use their covers on my other vehicle for the last 3 years and always got good service from them, replaced a panel I damaged free of charge.

The khaki looks good, almost went that way myself... maybe next time :)

Escape Gear stuff is amazing. Me myself and I have done best part of a million miles in the last 18 years sitting on escape gear. They also have great dash protectors ( with well though out storage ) and more recently in the last few years they have added water proof bags and a bunch of other bits.

Ask for Sam if you ever reach out.

And they do odd jobs on demand, if you just need one cover and such.

Definitely recommend.

I had the same offer from them, to replace a damaged panel free of charge (Defender) they withdrew the offer and refused to help in any way as I was in the UK. Even if I covered all the postage costs.

Rather put me off. Excellent covers though.

They replaced an entire dash cover for my 120 Land Cruiser a while back. Did you buy direct from them or via reseller ?

(Am in UK, I did pay for postage, I bought direct)
