I've just ordered the parts to fit a driver's side (right side pillar) handle to my UK Grenadier and to my surprise the parts were actually not that expensive:
- Handle £104.06
- Upper screw cap for handle £7.49
- Lower screw cap for handle £7.49
- Right hand A-pillar trim for left-hand-drive vehicle £50.70
All of the above are plus VAT at 20% and the total comes to £203.69. Unfortunately all parts are on back-order with IA at present and no stock is actually available!
This is FAR cheaper than trying to import an Agile Offroad or other handle into the UK, and I don't think is unreasonable. The handle and screw caps are not handed so these are the same for a left-side pillar handle on a left hand drive vehicle, the pillar trim is the only part that is handed. I wasn't originally going to order this trim since I thought I'd cut holes in the existing piece but when I heard the price I decided to get one, so if necessary I can remove the handle if I ever replace the Grenadier with another one.
After all the hype about the screw caps being something like £80 each I was please to find that they are about one tenth of what I'd been expecting.
