Comprehensive list of all known Grenadier Side Steps

I have been hanging out for a decent Australian designed and made (at least I think it is locally made!) rock slider with step to hit the market and finally found one that looked the business. Fitted the GrenX Rockslider Steps tonight, very well made and finished. Has three very solid 5mm steel mounting points connected to a RHS rail plus a tube extending off the rail with a checker plate step. Everything lined up well, all mounting hardware was first rate and was not hard to fit myself using a couple of jack stands. Too dark to take a decent picture of the underneath once mounted, will add one later.

This is a great looking rockslider/step, very OEM in appearance.

These just came out! I have been waiting for them to be available for a while’s of course they have the Grenadier tax added to them.

The Nakatanenga option is the best looking sliders/step I’ve seen so far for the Grenadier. I wonder if they will eventually have a distributor in Aus. I’m hoping off-road animal in Australia look at making options for the Grenadier as well. Awsome quality and their rock slider/steps they manufacture are a similar design - shape as Nakatenga.

They do

Price OMG 😱
Agile off-road have released their rockstep/slider. Another sleek option which again mounts higher than most replacing the plastic sill trim. Looks even better than the Nakatanenga o option in my opinion . Here is a link https://agileoffroad.com/product/ineos-grenadier-rock-sliders-by-agile-offroad/?zCountry=AU

They also have some other awsome and well thought out interior options.

Has anyone here installed the LeTech side runners? Are they full rock sliders (like Agile or Buzz) or not? I don’t do a bunch of boulder skipping, but if I’m going to do something other than the OEM steps, I would like solid protection.

That thing,Mounts to the body’s rocker panel.

Who would slide on it!?
From everything I’ve read so far it says they mount to the frame. They also explain the difference between ‘steps’ and sliders. A lot of Landrover discovery 1 and 2 sliders were designed the same. Tucked up close to the sill however still mounted to the frame.

No it mounts to the rocker panel. https://agileoffroad.com/wp-content...-Sliders_Intallation-Manual_v3-compressed.pdf

Second this question. Anyone install the LeTechs? Wish LeTech listed more detailed specs for material etc.

I still haven’t heard on this - and as you say the web site is somewhat ambiguous on this. Like the look - just don’t know if they provide the protection of Buzz

Has anyone tried Ca Tuned?

P.S.- We have LOTS more in-store than sliders and steps!

Ca tuned said they have no video or instructions on how to mount their unit.

I had to find this below....

Their web site:
"HASSLE-FREE INSTALLATION: Say goodbye to complicated installs. These rock sliders are designed to replace factory lower plastic cladding and mount directly using existing points—no drilling or cutting required. Spend less time in the garage and more time conquering trails."

replace factory lower plastic cladding WHAT???

poor guys need to get their shit together....

"My apologies, we don’t have an install video or written instructions. However, the sliders are designed to bolt directly to the same mounting points as the factory sliders, so installation is very straightforward.
Let me know if you run into and issues, or if you have any other questions.
Thanks!!

In their defence I think CAtuned is more focussed on the Boy Racer Tuner market where the inclusion of accurate, clear and logical instructions is a rarity. Many of the items have no instructions and rely on the installers dogged enthusiasm to get them fitted. I spent last night helping one of my kids tweaking and fitting a harness bar to his E36 Compact, like the bumpers and splitters and side skirts and seat brackets and coil overs and air box delete they rightly or wrongly assume you know what you are doing and YouTube will provide the answer if you don't.
