Your Grenadier will be much heavier

An aluminum block NA GM LS/LT is probably the same weight as the turbocharged B58.

Note that I’m not advocating for a change here. Just been on my end of a few LS swaps. They’re pretty light. We swapped a LS3 into a 996 and it was lighter than the flat 6 that came out by several pounds. Made MUCH more power as well.

One of the chaps working on the interminable rebuild next door (7 yrs and counting as they 're aiming for a German accreditation to do with sustainability...) has a serious weekend hobby building 'drift' cars. He was complimentary about the Grenadier's 8HP76 gearbox for its strength and reliability. He said that the 8HP55? used in the petrol series is a favourite in the local drift community, with some standard installs reliably handling 1,000bhp from highly modified Japanese 4 cyl engines... I'll take his word for it

But there is a significant torque difference between a 4 cyl engine and a 6.2L donk
