Debating on changing the Diff oil by myself. Quick questions:
- How to check and measure the correct fill?
- Is there a need to replace the O-rings on the plugs?

- use your pinky, dip it in and down and see if can touch the fluid. or bend a ziptie at a right angle and use that, white one works best.

- I haven't. But good practice to do so but wouldn't sweat it. In my experience you are more likely to get a leak at the bstard pinion seal!

When I was in Southern Africa the technician used an Allen key on the short side ,can’t remember what size to check oil level.
