I know there are several threads about the Aux lights in the grill. Mostly about how to trigger them without offroad mode. My question is different. I want to know 1.) what type of plug is on the back of light and 2.) are they LED lights? I'm thinking about putting amber film on them and using an LED dimmer to make them more of an additional marker light.

They’re an oddball. I only found them in one catalogue in North America for 84$ each. I just replaced the lights with another set and plugs with a deutsch.

I replaced mine with BD with amber rock guards but when I was at RDS another owner had wrapped his in amber film. They looked really nice.

Thanks Stu, so much for my hope it would be a standard plug for $6 at Amazon.

I think they are called Molex MX64.
There are some variants of that connector and I can't find a male plug for it.
