Anyone seen the OEM drawer system in the configurator in person?

Ah I. looked on the configurator this morning and didn't see it will have to look again but im only a stones throw from Gearmate so may drop in .

To fold them flat you have to pull up the seats forward, remove the head rests and than fold the back of the seat down.

Picture of my Gearmate twin drawer installed. Delighted with it. Fitted it on my own and very straightforward, bolted straight in. Perfect fit. Extremely well built. No rattles. Loadspace on top even easier to use than the OEM level. Also helps to reduce the booming from the poor rear acoustics. Sits a little higher than the rear seats when they are folded flat. Looks even better with the stickers taken off.

On my list of items to purchase. Hopefully pretty soon.

Just wondering 🤔….
How large is this when it ships?
Any chance that it will arrive intact down under 🤣🤔
Edit, ignore the Austrian flag as I’m with my sons ski racing!

Their website says 10 minute install/remove. Is it really that fast?
First time installing it takes longer, as you have to take out the tie-down rails (Trialmaster) and install the brackets. Theoretically, it could be done in 10 as all you have to do is take the drawer out, remove two screws and it should just lift out and then reverse to install it. I'd probably first take off the infill panels, which would add some time. A second pair of hands also makes it much easier.

I ordered the OEM Gearmate drawer system as an option on my Trialmaster late February. Arrived late June without drawer system. I took delivery with the drawer system as an “we owe you” on the paperwork. Has now been delivered and installed. Pics attached. Doesn’t have integrated airline rail, but the four cargo rings in the side of the cargo bay are accessible, and RTGT gave me the airline rails and the plastic and foam bed liner to do with as I wish. If I install a cargo rail, would go with a low profile rail. Drawer system is aluminum, which is an improvement over the steel Big Country Savute system in my LR3 with a rear seat delete. Drawers are level with the folded down rear seat backs. I would remove the seat bottoms to get more space if I were going to sleep flat. My six foot tri-partite foam bed fits with the seat backs folded down over the seat bottoms, and I can sleep with my head elevated which I prefer. Drawer has one divider with three transverse positions, so you can remove for full drawer, or install for 50/50, 25/75, or 75/25 setup. RTGT installed it with the 25% drawer to the rear, which makes the most sense to me. The system is 8.5 inches tall, and drawers are 5.5 inches deep. Top of the system is double walled, and bottom is either double walled or has stiffeners. I am confident the system will support me, a 12 volt freezer/fridge, and any camping gear I own. I recommend it as an option if you plan on sleeping in the Grenadier without a rear seat delete.

Does the OEM system rattle or make noise when going down the road?
Not on the street, but haven’t taken off road yet. It does not come with a liner in the drawer. I heard my tool kit and DeWalt battery tire inflator slide forward when I braked hard. I have ordered some 1/4” rubber tool box liner to install to prevent contents sliding around. System itself has been very quiet.

I can sit up in bed in my Grenadier. Could not in my LR3 with the deeper Savute drawers. Both are quality kit. I prefer the aluminum construction of the GearMate system. The steel Savute drawer system has more capacity, but you need more core strength to get in and out of bed.

My LR3 is fully built out, and I have the Iceco JP42 Pro fridge UNDER the DIY bed platform, with a hinged hatch, after removing rear seats. The drawers are first step on the Grenadier build. Never put a winch in the LR3, and have the factory winch in my Grenadier. Have White Knuckle step sliders on order. Will probably go with a smaller fridge in the Grenadier, and keep the rear seats installed. Could not be happier with my Trialmaster and my dealer, Ron Tonkin Gran Turismo.
