Yes there's a gap at the top of the guard over the sensor ring, small stones can get in there, I had that before but I was lucky it didn't get the sensor itself.It was epic. Thanks to Russ and everyone on the trip. The strap is belt and braces. Mine lost, I believe, an abs sensor and/or rotator that caused the dash to light up like a Christmas tree and loose many toys. It kept going though and didnt stop me doing any of the trip

Back in 2006 I went to the Todra gorge, Erg Chebbi, and the Telouet Kasbah among other places. Back then the Todra gorge road was just a track... we just happened upon Telouet by chance it was an awesome place, I think its more popular now, we were the only people there at the time.
