This has sat waiting for my attention for 12 years so I guess 20 years for a house is about right

Clark Kent appears to have kept that at bay with a protective layer of dust.

My 62 Land Rover used oil as a protectant. Factory feature - oil just came out all over the place with regularity. English ingenuity at its finest.

Spent the last couple of weeks under a '78. I should be there now but, you know, forum duty calls.

Still waiting for access to the manual.
