Workshop Manuals available?

First impression is. It’s brilliant. It is very early impressions but for instance in the parts section you click on air induction system. It the a has a 3D drawing you can zoom in on and manipulate. Clic on any part of it and the relevant part number will be listed in the parts list below 👌🏼
One point I noticed is if I have my iPad in landscape orientation then the exploded diagrams don’t come up. 👍🏼
Any Easter egg for:
Reset or alter TPMS-
But most importantly, the secret Nintendo 64 game controller sequence to reset service reminder?

Havnt got that far. But I now know how to take the front bumper apart. I couldn’t find the fixings that come in from the back when in the middle of Malawi. I managed a bodge fix at the time for my rads. This makes it so much easier 😍. Well done Ineos. And less than a week when they said it may take upto six weeks. Bloody brilliant. A diagnostic tool and we’re away. This’ll help sales surely. 🤞🏼

They have a section overview of how everything works with a diagram you can zoom in on and a video explanation for all working parts of the Grenadier. Very impressive. We are all going to learn so much. I know I will anyway. IMG_2420.jpeg

OBD2 service interval reset. Hmmmm...View attachment 7905583
If only it explained a procedure where you had to open and shut the drivers door three times, press the toot horn twice, stomp on the brake and accelerator together, touch your elbow to your knee, put your keys in your left pocket, put on some aftershave, comb your hair and press the mute button on the center console, I’d prefer that to having to connect an unobtainable dealer only OBD2 device.

Hoping Autel comes into the picture at some point with IA’s help… fingers crossed!

Hell, if IA offered a single function OBD2 dongle with a reset button on and sold it through the dealers I’d pay for it especially if they are finding it too complicated to add reset functionality via the vehicle software and settings screens. But then again maybe a dongle is too complicated?

I’ve found that using an iPad the instructional videos on how to view things go out of view at the top of the screen so you only see the bottom part of the video. If you stop it and click on each individual step then I can get it into view. I’ve sent feedback to Ineos

If major components such as diffs or transfer case need rebuilding after 8 years that’s a fail and puts them squarely in a Land Rover box
Sad fact and hope that is far from where reality lands

I received this email below and replied to it via the Request Access button.
I then received an email telling me they will email the link for access soon.
I haven't received that yet but it has only been a couple of days.

Time to find all the old gearbox repair tools 😉 now where did they go in the big move?

I have never had any interest in working on cars.
I enjoy adding the stuff inside but I don't even like washing them.
You'll need a retirement hobby. You ripped up your lawn so no mowing. What about learning the guitar?
I can recommend. It's good clean fun!

I know we're all keen to get access, but in the interim is there any copyright issues with IA's tech content? I would not want to put @Stu_Barnes under pressure because we're posting IA's propriety information on the forum (and by extension, on the Internet).

Once Ineos allows owner access it’s in the public domain so unless you have signed some sort of privacy agreement it’s for all to see IMO but I am no lawyer

I reckon Ineos know what will happen. This forum is all about helping one another so we are bound to share info. It won’t be too long before some really smart computer geek will be copying the lot and collating it into a book or open access manual. Hopefully we will just be able to look up and download what info we want from this forum once it’s all been collated. After all much info on how to do things has been passed on from Ineos technicians to owners and then disseminated to this forum already.
